PRESS RELEASE – 16th JUNE 2015
Harry Levy Amusement Contractors Limited have today completed the purchase of Crown Leisure Limited from Cuerden Leisure Limited. The acquisition will see Crown Leisure operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Harry Levy Amusement Contractors.
Led by Managing Director, Dean Harding, Crown operating out of Wigan and Galashiels is recognised as the UK’s largest distributor of gaming and amusement coin operated games. In addition to the supply business, Crown operates a number of AGC’s and FEC’s located in holiday parks, piers and seafront locations around the UK.
Dean Harding comments “I would like to thank Cuerden Leisure and Hemway for the last 12 years that I have had the pleasure of working for them. During that time the market has changed enormously, and while there have been some challenging times, the support from Hemway and the Hemming’s family has always been superb.” Talking about the future, Harding adds, “The outlook for us as part of Harry Levy Amusements is very exciting. We have a strong team at Crown and with the support of a new parent company with the coin op business at its heart, it will allow us to step up to the next level, investing into all the new opportunities that lie ahead”.
Of the acquisition, Harry Levy said “We have worked with Crown as a customer for many years. During this time we have grown to respect their collective knowledge, ability to market and sell games, and the outstanding quality and high standard of their machine Operation. When the opportunity arose to acquire Crown it didn’t take any time for us to make a decision. I am delighted to have Dean and his team on board, and both Matthew Deith and I look forward to working closely with them to take our business forward.”
